Kaya and Wandjoo,
We have had a great start to Term 2 with everyone returning refreshed after the holidays. This term is action packed as always with lots of learning and extra-curricular activities.
Our school ANZAC Day service was a respectful and moving remembrance of the service and sacrifice of veterans and serving personnel. Our students were engaged and respectful during the ceremony and I would like to thank them and our staff for honouring veterans and expressing thanks for their service.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our students to attend Edu Dance. It is awesome to hear the music pumping and see the students all engaged in the program.Having seen the students participate in this program over a couple of years it is great to see the skill levels and confidence increase. Don’t forget to mark your diaries for our Edu Dance Concert which will occur towards the end of term on Tuesday 23 June.
The Premier’s reading Challenge has been launched for 2026. This years theme is “Stories to discover. Stories to tell”. This theme aims to encourage young readers to explore and share their favourite stories. It is exciting to see so many of our students already signed up. The challenge runs from 23 March to 12 June.
Kindergarten enrolments for 2027 are now open. If your child turns 4 years old by 30 June 2027, you can apply to enrol before 24 July 2026.
We are currently in the process of updating our website, and we are pleased to now include our Annual Report 2025, Strategic Plan 2025-2027 and our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2026-2027. Please check out our website https:kingsleyps.wa.edu.au for all the latest information.
