NEWSLETTER Week 3, Term 1, 2024.

Kaya, Wanjoo Parents & Carers

On behalf of all staff at KPS, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new families and welcome back those of you who have been members of the Kingsley family for some time.  Our little school continues to grow with many new enrolments for the 2024 school year.

The first few weeks of term have been busy, with staff and students working hard to transition smoothly despite the extreme weather conditions. I wish to thank you all for your support in ensuring that our students arrive at school on time and ready to learn. A good night’s sleep, a healthy lunchbox and a cold water bottle are important contributors to ensuring that our students can make the most of every learning opportunity. At KPS, we pride ourselves on developing strong home/school relationships… as this results in the best possible outcomes for our students.

If you have any cares/concerns/celebrations about your child, please make contact with your child’s teacher via Connect, Class Dojo or Email to make an appointment to see them. Staff will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible during the hours of 8.30-3.30pm.

One last request, please have a conversation with your child/children about ‘pick up’ at the end of the school day. Please ensure that your child knows ‘who’ is picking them up and that that they know ‘where’ they are being picked up from. We have advised all students to come to the office at the end of the school day if the person who is supposed to pick them up has not arrived.

Thank you for your support with keeping all of our KPS students safe.

Take care & stay cool!

Community Breakfast

Thank you to everyone who attended the community breakfast on Friday, it was such a great turnout. Thankfully the heat wave stayed away for us! It was so rewarding to have so many positive comments from parents about the event.
