Parking facilities consist of bus bays for the Language Development Centre buses adjacent to the Pre-Primaries, and a “Kiss and Drive” facility at the front of the school. The effectiveness of these facilities relies on the co-operation of parents. Please follow these guidelines:
Adhere to the voluntary one-way system around the school between 8:00am and 3:30pm. Cars should travel in an anti-clockwise direction around the school entering at Sinclair Street, travelling along Serls Street and exiting at Lathwell Street.
Where possible drop students off on the west, south and east sides of the school, leaving the north side of the school free.
The “Kiss and Drive” area is not to be parked in. It is a drop down zone only.
Do not execute Three Point Turns at the front of the school. This will be dangerous for pedestrians and cause traffic congestion.
The Staff Car Park is for the use of staff of Kingsley Primary School and SELDC only.
Bus bays are to be left clear for the buses that drop students between 8:30am and 8:40am and pick the students up between 2:30pm and 2:40pm.
Once dropped at the “Kiss and Drive,” students should enter through the main pedestrian gate.
The car park near the canteen has allocated parking for school deliveries, Canteen and Gardening Staff only. The parking area is not to be used as a student drop off zone. Unless access to the disabled parking bay has been pre-arranged with the administration, please continue to use the ample on street parking and designated drop off zones around the school.
