It is hard to believe that I am already in my fifth week as Principal of Kingsley Primary School. The past few weeks have certainly been busy, but they have also given me many opportunities to get to know our students, staff and families and to develop a much better understanding of the school and its community.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has taken the time to introduce themselves, stop for a chat or simply say hello. I have very much appreciated the warm welcome I have received and have enjoyed beginning to build relationships with the people who make up the Kingsley community.
There has certainly been plenty happening already. We were fortunate to welcome West Australian Opera to the school for a performance, providing our students with the opportunity to experience opera and live performance firsthand. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and engagement of our students and to be able to offer them an experience that may have been completely new for many.
